Meet Megha... Celebrated Dancer, Author, Inspirational Speaker
Megha Nancy Buttenheim is a celebrated dancer, author, teacher, and inspirational speaker who believes that dancing is the key to a joyful life and instills that belief in everyone she meets. Known for her delightful energy, humor and skill, she quickly brings people into their happiness and joy.
She is the founding director and CJO (Chief Joy Officer) of Let Your Yoga Dance®. An international presenter, Megha has been leading teacher-trainings, retreats, and classes at Kripalu Center in Stockbridge, Massachusetts since 1985. She has offered keynotes in England and Canada, and presented in Melbourne, Australia and Costa Rica. She brings her passion and expertise as a lifelong dancer, actress, singer, yogi, and educator in experiential learning to all her presentations, workshops and trainings.

Megha leads Let Your Yoga Dance® Teacher Training and other programs at Kripalu Center, Canada, Costa Rica, Florida, Cape Cod. Creator of the popular Introduction to Yoga and Meditation weekend program (with a DVD of the same name), and Wild & Wise Women Let Your Yoga Dance® Celebration, Megha also directs Let Your Yoga Dance® Teacher Training for Special Populations. She works closely with both the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA). Having received four generous grants from APDA, she offers Let Your Yoga Dance® for Parkinsons every week, and at many conferences around the USA and Canada.
Megha is also on the faculty with the Wholebeing Institute, and is the Director of Movement and Meditation for the Certificate in Positive Psychology. She has worked closely and has trained with acclaimed happiness author and Let Your Yoga Dance enthusiast ,Tal Ben-Shahar. Megha created a special curriculum for Tal’s certification: Let Your Yoga Dance, Embodying Positive Psychology, that expresses experiential learning at its best. Her mission, for over 30 years, has been to bring joy and consciousness to the world while demonstrating that “Everyone is a Dancer.”
